The Trinity House is a nonprofit Human Services Organization offering the following Programs and Services:

Path to Self-Sufficiency (PSS):  The core program of The Trinity House, PSS provides case management services to residents to help them set and achieve goals. The PSS program is a client-driven process whereby residents, with the help of a case manager, determine benchmarks and milestones of progress they work toward during their time at The Trinity House.  When a client enters one of our homes, he or she goes through a goal-setting process. The case manager advocates for the client’s needs and periodically reviews their goals to help them redirect their efforts when necessary, ensuring client success.

Path to Self-Sufficiency-Transitions (PSST):  Funded in part by The San Diego Downtown Lions Club, SST is a derivative of the PSS program but geared toward former foster youth.

Addressing the Health Disparity of Homelessness:    Funded in part by Alliance Healthcare Foundation, McCarthy Family Foundation, The Parker Foundation and many gracious donors within the San Diego community, this program addresses the healthcare of the homeless with a particular emphasis on homeless families with children.  Augmenting the above-mentioned core program offered by The Trinity House, the Addressing the Health Disparity of Homelessness program provides a structured and comprehensive approach to access to healthcare, healthcare education, housing and supportive services for homeless families.

Fitness with Favor:  In partnership with Lord’s Fitness Community Development Center, we provide a program entitled “Fitness with Favor”.  This program is a component of the Addressing the Health Disparity of Homelessness program and involves providing supportive services to at-risk and homeless children residing at The Trinity House.  The goal of this project is to promote positive mental, physical, and emotional activities for children who have been exposed to unhealthy environments as a result of unstable living conditions.   Lord’s Fitness Community Development Center provides just the venue to accomplish this goal!
